QuietHabit Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for using the QuietHabit service operated by the Company, and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.
QuietHabit is a wellness and personal care service that helps users record, scan, and manage urine test results and related wellness indicators through a mobile application and related services.
QuietHabit is designed to support self-monitoring, personal care routines, and general wellness awareness. It is not intended to provide medical diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention, or professional medical advice.
Article 2. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms:
- "Service" means the QuietHabit mobile application, website, test kit-related features, result recording, wellness tracking, notification, reward, and other related services provided by the Company.
- "User" means any individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Account" means the login credentials, including email and password, registered by the User to access the Service.
- "Test Result Data" means urine test results, wellness marker values, scan results, historical records, and related information entered, scanned, or generated through the Service.
- "Wellness Information" means general self-monitoring information, trends, reminders, and personal care-related insights provided through the Service.
- "Reward" means points, levels, benefits, coupons, or other incentives that may be provided through the Service according to the Company's operating policy.
Article 3. Effect and Amendment of Terms
These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen, website, or otherwise notified to Users.
The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law. If the Terms are amended, the Company will notify Users at least 7 days in advance through the Service, website, email, or in-app notice.
If a User continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, the User will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 4. Use of Service
Users may access the Service after registering as a member through the Company's designated process.
The Service may include the following features:
- Account registration and login
- Urine test kit scanning and result recording
- Storage and management of test history
- Wellness trend analysis based on recorded test results
- Personal care reminders and wellness-related notifications
- Service notices, events, and reward information
- Reward or level-based features
- Customer support and service notices
The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in principle. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, inspection, technical failure, security issues, service improvement, or other operational reasons.
Article 5. Wellness and Medical Disclaimer
QuietHabit is a wellness and personal care service.
The Service is intended to help Users build personal wellness habits, record wellness-related indicators, and monitor changes over time for general self-care purposes.
QuietHabit is not a medical device, medical diagnosis service, treatment service, disease prevention service, or substitute for professional medical advice.
Test results, wellness indicators, analysis, comments, trends, alerts, or recommendations provided through the Service are for general informational, personal care, and self-monitoring purposes only.
The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, monitor, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional if they have symptoms, abnormal test results, health concerns, or questions about diagnosis, treatment, medication, or medical decisions.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, medical validity, or suitability of any result for a specific medical purpose.
Article 6. AI Wellness Summary
QuietHabit may provide an optional AI-generated wellness summary feature using Anthropic Claude, a third-party AI service provided by Anthropic.
The AI wellness summary is intended only to help Users review general wellness patterns, personal care routines, and self-monitoring information based on their test result data.
Before any test result data or personal information is sent to Anthropic Claude for AI wellness summary generation, QuietHabit will provide an in-app notice and obtain the User's explicit consent.
Data that may be sent to Anthropic Claude may include urine wellness marker values, test date, test history context, general app context, and a pseudonymous user ID where necessary for service operation, abuse prevention, or technical support.
QuietHabit does not intentionally send the User's name, email address, password, precise location, payment information, contact list, or government-issued identification information to Anthropic Claude for AI wellness summary generation.
Users may decline AI processing. If the User does not consent, QuietHabit will not send the User's test result data to Anthropic Claude, and AI wellness summary features may be unavailable.
AI-generated wellness summaries are provided for general wellness reference, personal care, and self-monitoring purposes only. They are not medical advice and must not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, disease prediction, disease monitoring, insurance evaluation, employment screening, credit evaluation, or any other medical or legal decision-making purpose.
Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional if they have symptoms, abnormal results, health concerns, or questions about diagnosis, treatment, medication, or medical decisions.
Article 7. User Obligations
Users must not engage in any of the following activities:
- Using another person's information without authorization
- Providing false or inaccurate information
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
- Attempting unauthorized access to the Service, server, database, or system
- Infringing the intellectual property rights or other rights of the Company or third parties
- Using the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes
- Copying, distributing, selling, reverse engineering, or commercially exploiting the Service without authorization
- Uploading malicious code, harmful content, or data that may disrupt the Service
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account.
Article 8. Test Kit and Result Use
Users must use any test kit or scanning feature according to the provided instructions.
Test results may vary depending on user condition, hydration, timing, lighting, camera quality, test strip condition, storage environment, scanning method, and other external factors.
If the test pad, QR code, image quality, or scanning condition is not appropriate, the User may be asked to scan again.
The Company may restrict, correct, delete, or refuse to process data that is inaccurate, abnormal, incomplete, or generated through improper use.
Test Result Data is provided as wellness and personal care information only and should not be interpreted as a medical diagnosis or clinical decision-making basis.
Article 9. Rewards and Benefits
The Company may provide rewards, levels, coupons, benefits, or other incentives to Users according to the Service's operating policy.
Reward conditions, availability, expiration, usage method, and limitations may be changed, suspended, or terminated depending on the Company's policy, partner circumstances, fraud prevention, or operational needs.
Rewards have no cash value unless explicitly stated by the Company and may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, or used outside the Service.
The Company may cancel or restrict rewards obtained through fraud, abuse, system manipulation, false information, or violation of these Terms.
Article 10. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, logo, trademarks, content, text, images, icons, data structure, and service features, belong to the Company or its licensors.
Users may use the Service only within the scope permitted by these Terms and the Company's policies.
No right or license is granted to Users except the limited right to use the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes.
Article 11. Suspension and Termination
The Company may restrict, suspend, or terminate a User's access to the Service if the User violates these Terms, applicable law, or the Company's policies.
Users may withdraw from the Service at any time through the app settings or by contacting the Company.
Upon account termination or withdrawal, personal information and test result data will be deleted according to the Privacy Policy and Sensitive Information Policy, unless retention is required by applicable law.
Article 12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always available operation of the Service.
The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, network failure, third-party service failure, user fault, maintenance, security threats, or other events beyond the Company's reasonable control.
Test results from this Service are for wellness reference and personal care purposes only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis.
The Company does not guarantee any particular health outcome, reward, benefit, or result expected by Users from using the Service.
AI-generated wellness summaries, if provided, are generated automatically based on limited input data and may not reflect the User's complete physical condition, lifestyle, medical history, medications, or other relevant factors.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, medical validity, or suitability of AI-generated wellness summaries for any medical, clinical, insurance, employment, credit, or legal purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the use of the Service.
Article 13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any dispute related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by the competent court under applicable Korean law.
